The GBS Application Support function is responsible for delivering 2nd and 3rd line support across a broad portfolio of business-critical applications hosted on PageGroup Azure environments and SaaS platforms.

Descripción

  • Manage and prioritise a queue of incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed through clear and timely communication.
  • Contribute to and support project delivery, ensuring smooth transition from project implementation into operational support.
  • Coordinate and lead communication during high-impact incidents, ensuring transparency, ownership, and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and technology partners to address incidents, service needs, system improvements, and project-related activities.
  • Provide cross-functional support to other teams in analysing and resolving issues related to supported applications.
  • Participate in projects, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives related to supported systems.
  • Plan, review, and implement application changes in accordance with ITSM standards and the group's Change Management processes across all environments (test and production).
  • Ensure all application changes are properly documented, communicated, and adopted by users.
  • Maintain a strong focus on system security and risk mitigation, including adherence to security policies, vulnerability management, and remediation of findings from audits or penetration tests.
  • Manage and control user access and permissions across supported applications, ensuring compliance and data protection standards.
  • Own and maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation, including system architecture, configurations, processes, maintenance activities, known issues, contingency and recovery plans.
  • Support business continuity and operational resilience, contributing to recovery planning and execution when required.
  • Provide out-of-hours support when necessary for critical incidents or maintenance activities, in line with HR compensation policies.

Perfil buscado

  • Proven experience in application support and/or system administration is essential. Exposure to application development, database management, or BI is a strong advantage.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with a high level of service quality.
  • Analytical, process-driven thinker with the ability to solve problems efficiently.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving, and cross-cultural environments.
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Must Have technical skills:
    • Windows Server 2012+
    • SQL Server Transact‑SQL (queries, stored procedures)
    • MS Internet Information Server (IIS)
    • Powershell
    • SharePoint / OneDrive (administration)
