Cloud Architect

• Provide management and thought leadership to our client with regards toDevOps, Security, and team management.

  • Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP)
• Be theDevOps/Cloud InfrastructureSME
  • Manage, improve and maintain the Cloud infrastructure
  • Build and Deploy Cloud projects.
  • Ensure Cloud environment meets business requirements for reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to define and optimize deployment requirements in AWS/Azure
  • Ownership of core cloud services and applying best practices regarding security, scalability, and cost.
  • Establishing concrete processes & procedures, scripting, etc.
  • Optimize performance and cost in cloud environments.
• Assist in defining, implementing, and supporting best in class developer process for Solutions Delivery group.
  • Work collaboratively with the Solutions team on Cloud Infrastructure design with a focus on improving build and deployment efficiency and fast infrastructure performance.
  • Assist with Technical Design Requirements and capacity planning per business requirement
  • Ensure all infrastructure adhere to any and all compliance requirements.
  • Ensure that SLAs are met.
  • Create and maintain appropriate documentation (Cloud architecture, etc.).
• Key stakeholder and visionary in defining and supporting next generation enhancements infrastructure:
• • Help evaluate available technologies and architecture adequate for the business needs.
  • Containerizing Monolithic Applications
  • Containerization and Container Orchestration
  • Infrastructure as Code - (Such as Terraform)
  • CI/CD Pipelines
  • Migrating to an optimized microservices based model
  • Internal Developer Platforms
• Troubleshoot customer AWS/Azure issues or assign resources as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Travel Required:
  • This role is not usually required to travel and entirely Work From Home.
  • Travel may be requested for the following types of reasons:
    • Customer Requirements (examples: Milestone delivery, key project task, etc.
    • Management Request (Leadership Summits, special invitation, etc.)
